Ridgeway School Curriculum

Our curriculum has: 

1.         Programmes designed to meet individual needs and a breadth that
encompasses, but goes beyond, the National Curriculum to include independence skills and therapy.

2.       An expectation that all pupils will have access to the full breadth of the curriculum, although this may need to be achieved through the use of:

(a)                               technological aids, such as computers and associated
hardware. 

(b)                               alternative and augmentative communication systems.  

(c)                                additional staff.

3.                                    Planning and delivery by a multi-skilled team.

                 4.                                  The use of a variety of specialist and adapted resources.
